Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Tailhedge is an AI-assisted investment research platform. These terms explain the service, its limits and the responsibilities that come with using it.

1. About Tailhedge and these terms

These terms govern your use of Tailhedge.ai, a research platform based in the Netherlands, referred to here as “Tailhedge”, “we” or “us”. Contact us at [email protected]. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled; the Investor disclaimer explains research and investment risks.

Use the platform only if you can lawfully enter into these terms. Accounts and paid plans are intended for adults aged 18 or over. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to do so. Mandatory rights under applicable law take priority over any conflicting provision here.

2. Research only; no investment advice

Tailhedge provides general information and research tools, not personalised investment, financial, tax or legal advice. It does not assess your investment objectives, finances, experience, ability to bear loss or suitability for a particular product.

Scores, rankings, valuations, watchlists, model portfolios, investment theses, alerts, social analysis and words such as “quality”, “value”, “bullish” or “undervalued” are research outputs. They are not instructions to buy, sell or hold, an offer to transact, a guarantee, or an endorsement of a security, issuer or third party. Subscription payments do not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.

The platform does not accept brokerage orders, hold investment assets or execute trades. Portfolio simulations are not brokerage accounts. Decide independently whether to act, verify relevant information with primary sources, and seek a suitably authorised adviser when you need personal advice. A disclaimer does not override any regulatory obligation that applies to a particular communication.

3. AI, public sources and possible mistakes

Material is generated, summarised, classified or scored using artificial intelligence and automated calculations. AI can invent details, misunderstand context, confuse people or companies, misattribute a statement, translate incorrectly or present a weak inference with apparent confidence. Not every output is reviewed by a person. Human review, where performed, does not eliminate errors.

Research relies on public sources such as regulatory filings, issuer publications, market information, news, podcasts and public commentary. It may also incorporate provider-licensed or lawfully supplied material. A source being public does not make it accurate, complete, current or free of rights restrictions. Third parties remain responsible for their own statements; inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Quotes may be delayed. Filings describe a past reporting period and may be amended. Published holdings may not describe a current portfolio. Name matches are not proof of identity. Model estimates depend on assumptions; they are not observed fair values. Coverage gaps, source outages, duplicate records and calculation mistakes can affect any result. Check the timestamp, underlying source, assumptions and limitations before relying on a record.

4. Investment and performance risks

You can lose some or all of an investment. Volatility, leverage, illiquidity, currency movements, concentration and changing rules can increase losses. Past or simulated performance does not reliably predict future results. A backtest may benefit from hindsight or omit costs, taxes, spreads, slippage, liquidity constraints and survivorship effects. An alert may be late, unavailable or never delivered; do not use Tailhedge as a safety system or as your sole basis for a time-sensitive decision.

5. Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account information, safeguard access credentials and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise. Do not impersonate someone, upload unlawful material, compromise systems, bypass access restrictions, harvest personal data, submit abusive contact messages, or use the service in breach of applicable law or third-party rights.

You may use the features made available to your plan for your own lawful research. You may not redistribute restricted datasets, commercially resell access or systematically extract protected content without permission or a legal right to do so. Nothing here restricts uses that applicable law expressly permits.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Free and paid features are described on the plans page and at checkout. The price, currency, billing period, tax treatment and any renewal terms shown when you order govern your purchase. A recurring subscription renews on those disclosed terms until cancelled. Manage it through the available billing controls or contact [email protected] for help. Cancellation stops future renewals as shown in the billing confirmation; it does not remove statutory refund or withdrawal rights.

Where applicable, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. Any request to start service during that period, proportionate charge, or exception for digital content must meet the applicable legal conditions and cannot arise merely from this paragraph. If the service is defective or not supplied as agreed, legal remedies remain available. We do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule.

We will give legally required notice of material changes to a paid service or price. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights for an existing purchase. Where the law gives you a right to reject a change or end a subscription, that right remains available.

7. Corrections, removal and intellectual property

You may request review, correction or removal of any data or content displayed on Tailhedge through our data correction or removal form or by emailing [email protected]. Include the page link, the information at issue, the reason for your request and enough detail for us to assess it. If acting for another person or a rights holder, explain your authority. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request an appropriate, secure verification method.

We assess requests and may correct, restrict, anonymise or remove material. We may need further information, and we may retain material where a legal duty, a valid rights exception, public-interest grounds or the establishment or defence of legal claims requires or permits it. We will explain our response where required. Personal-data requests are handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable deadlines. Removal from Tailhedge does not erase a publisher’s source record, a regulatory filing, search-engine caches or third-party copies we do not control.

Tailhedge’s software, presentation and original material, and third parties’ contributions, remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Source attribution is not a licence for every further use. Report a rights concern with the work, affected URLs, your contact details and the basis of your claim. We may remove content to address legal, accuracy or safety concerns without promising permanent availability.

8. Availability, changes and suspension

We aim to provide a useful service but cannot promise uninterrupted access, a particular research outcome, complete market coverage or error-free data. Maintenance, source changes, network problems and circumstances outside our reasonable control may interrupt it. We may reasonably suspend access to address abuse, security risks, non-payment or legal requirements, giving notice where appropriate and lawful. Paid-service obligations and mandatory consumer remedies still apply.

9. Responsibility and liability

You remain responsible for your investment decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that general research is suitable for your circumstances or that forecasts will occur. For consumers, we remain responsible for loss that applicable law makes us responsible for; we do not exclude statutory standards for digital services or remedies for failure to meet them.

To the extent legally permitted, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or losses caused solely by your independent investment decisions or third-party events without a breach of our duties. For business users, we also exclude indirect or consequential business losses to the extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury where liability cannot be excluded, gross negligence where protected by law, data-protection obligations, or any other non-excludable liability.

10. Complaints, applicable law and changes

Send a complaint to [email protected] with the relevant dates, page links and the outcome you seek. Support hours are Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 UTC. We review complaints and respond as soon as reasonably possible; statutory deadlines take priority.

Dutch law applies, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection under the law that otherwise applies in their country of habitual residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear a dispute. These terms do not require consumers to use exclusive arbitration, waive collective rights or bring a claim only in the Netherlands.

We may update these terms prospectively. The date above identifies this version. We will provide notice and obtain agreement where the law requires it for a material change. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent legally permitted; no replacement may reduce mandatory consumer rights.
